“ Really nice place to hang out with a group of friends over a cuppa coffee. They serve a wide range of drinks with both a breakfast and a lunch/dinner menu. I had the chai latte and my mum had her latte. Both were equally fabulous. My chai had some really nice foam on the top which I seriously loved. Sadly, we didn't order any food but their breakfast menu looked and sounded delicious. (I uploaded a picture of their brekky menu) Definitely recommend this place. ”
“ Situated at the corner with quick friendly service and a good choice of breakfasts. The Sportsbar is rather quiet in the morning but you could stil watch sports for breakfast. My fresh pressed juice came quick as well as the scrambled eggs and toast. All fresh and delicious! ”
“ Very tasty Australian breakfast and they show live American football (college and pro). I had the eggs with bacon and sausage and it hit the spot just right. The bacon is more along the lines of English style (i.e. not crispy) but was really tasty. The beef sausage was nice as well. They also have a nice selection of espresso drinks and fresh-squeezed juices. I had an iced cappuccino which was really nice. This place is on the edge of Boat Quay, so expect tourist prices. ”
“ I live not far away and sometimes my walks around town takes me passed Boat Quay. I generally do see BQ as a casual dining place - it's more a place to get a drink or 5 with friends. I'm not a big fan of the hard sell and it usually have the opposite effect on me: I do not stop there. Most times I end up walking by BQ and get my meal closer to home. I stopped by this place as I was hungry and they were showing rugby. It is a sports pub and, as the name implies, one of the down under variety. It turned out the food was very good. So if you're into Australian sports while enjoying a VB and a good meal; this place is for you. ”
“ One of the best times to go for walks in Singapore are during the mornings when it's pleasantly cool! One morning I began in Chinatown and led myself here. I ended up staying for quite a bit; I think maybe 2-2.5 hours while going through a breakfast burrito (ok) and 3 smooth chai lattes (some maybe with shots ("dirty"), don't recall). After my 1st chai, it dawned on me that the Seahawks might be on one of the international sports networks. I asked the waiter about seeing what they can do to find out if I can watch the football game later. After awhile, we got ASN on the flatscreen! Woot! I was pretty happy being able to watch almost to half-time. I appreciated them doing that. Service from a waiter and a waitress was very pleasant and kind. Cool beans. ”
“ Great place for breakfast. I had the chicken, cheese, avo wrap with a side of BBQ sauce and a pot of Earl Grey tea. The food was great, the service was fast (much faster than other places in Singapore) and the tea was good. There are seven big TVs for watching sports so I can see this place being a good hangout at any time of day. Overall, after three days of eating in Singapore, this place is near the top of the list. ”
